Serve At Calvary

Our welcome team greets and assists newcomers doing whatever we can to help people feel welcome.

If you like connecting with people you should consider serving in our welcome ministry.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary.

Calvary Kids is not the church, but rather a ministry of our church for the purpose of reaching the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our hope and constant prayer for our children is that God will save them.

We have many opportunities for you to help serve the parents and children of our church.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary. Background check and training.

We live in a world where cultural messages often conflict with God's Word. We recognize the challenges facing our youth and so our focus is to dive into the Scriptures to help them have a God-centered view of the world and to courageously follow Jesus Christ in the midst of a world that is constantly changing.

We are looking for people who desire to disciple the youth in our church.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary.

We have a number of positions on our worship team available, including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, piano and vocals.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary. Complete an audition and short interview process.

Time Commitment: Band rehearsals on are Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Sunday call time is 7:45am.

We are looking for people to serve on our A/V Team to help with audio and ProPresenter.

Our outreach ministry is actively engaged in organizing events and offering support to our local schools. We desire to build strong relationships within our community and lend a helping hand.

We are looking for people to help serve our Deacon of Outreach.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary.

Our hospitality team serves the church by assisting in the kitchen and setting up for events.

They get the coffee brewing before service and stay after service to clean up.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary.

Recognizing that women need to share life with each other and following the example laid out in Titus 2, we invite moms, singles, teens, widows, senior saints and any other ladies to join in weekly Bible studies, as well as special gatherings throughout the year.

We are looking for some people who can help coordinate groups and events.

Requirement: Must be a female member of Calvary.

Men need encouragement, Godly wisdom, and hope today more than ever. Our Men's Ministry is centered on following Jesus and anchoring ourselves in God's Word through our weekly Bible studies.

A prayer team volunteer can serve by faithfully praying for others. Commit a specific number of times throughout a day or week to pray over requests on the Prayer List.

Also help with setup and preparations for our monthly prayer meeting.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary. Dedication to prayer and able to attend most Sunday night prayer meetings.

Our Widow Shut-In ministry provides practical support, companionship, and prayer to encourage and stand alongside widows who may feel isolated or homebound.

We're always looking for volunteers to help our Deacon of Widow Care with errands, household tasks, meal preparation, and most importantly, to share a bit of companionship and care.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary.

As a member of this ministry, you'll be a part of planning outreach events, ensuring that we don’t miss the opportunity to share the gospel at these events. Your role involves brainstorming creative strategies to share the Good News effectively, utilizing resources such as Bibles and gospel tracts.

Requirement: Must be a member of Calvary. Dedication to prayer and able to attend most Sunday night prayer meetings.
