Welcome, we are delighted that you have taken the time to visit the Cornerstone Baptist Church website.  Cornerstone Baptist Church is made up of people who have been rescued from sin by our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and being transformed by God’s grace.  As a result of such a great salvation, we desire to live and serve Christ and our fellow man in such a way that we might show His greatness to the world around us.

The foundation of all we are and all we do is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We believe that the gospel is of first importance.  There is no word of truth of greater importance than the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It’s message has no equal.  There is nothing more important, nothing more useful, and nothing more necessary for the promotion of the glory and kingdom of God.  All the riches of God and every true joy for the believer are found there.  It is indeed good news!  The death of Jesus Christ on the cross has paid the debt of our sin and his resurrection from the dead guarantees our eternal life.  Thus, we live by faith (the just shall live by faith) trusting that God will do everything that He promised to do for us in His Son, Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to explore the information available as an avenue to learn about us, and more importantly, about the One true God we worship through His Son, Jesus Christ.  We would love for you to visit with us and attend our times of worship, Bible study, and fellowship – whether you are just passing through this part of the country or whether you live in the Elgin or greater Austin area.
